All reviews brunch seafood stuffed shrimp rod and reel casino address rockefeller burger breakfast buffet chesapeake bay the bread pudding right next door beautiful view anniversary dinner omelet station rod water slots docks md We lived in the D.
We heard it had been upgraded from a 'beachy' restaurant, so https://exotic-decor.ru/and/casino-glass-and-mirror.html decided to take a nostalgic road trip to Chesapeake Beach, Maryland.
We couldn't resist taking home a 4-inch high cheesecake which just melted in your mouth!
Went there for my 65th birthday with 15 friends.
They had rod and reel casino address lobster dinner special for 16.
They accomodated us with certain menu changes at no extra charge and Dan our Maitre'D was extremely rod and reel casino address and polite.
The Manager also made every effort to see that we had a marvelous time.
I loved it and will definitely go again and will recommend it over and over.
In addition, the location is on the waterfront and the view was absolutely beautiful.
Breakfast and dinner were very good here.
But mountain 18 spirit is and over casino prices are high and the service and atmosphere is average.
I get the impression this place is pretending to be fancy but can't quite pull it off.
The food was good.
My bride had a rockfish filet, shrimp and scallop combination and I had a crabmeat, shrimp and scallop combination, which were both awesome.
Both had a similar sauce which was light, but one of them was awesome.
I normally shy away from hotel restaurants, but I was glad we went.

We went for our anniversary and had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the water.
We noticed there was only one bar of soap in the bathroom and the sink stopper didn't work.
After reporting it to a friendly housekeeper, the problems were resolved.
The person at the front desk was not learn more here nice--she acted annoyed when I asked why the pool was not open.
She said it would be fixed the next day.
The following morning, I asked again and she had a mechanic come over.
She made me feel like I was bothering her.
It is her job and she obviously didn't care about our being inconvenienced.
The parking is terrible due to renovation.
We had to keep using vaket parking.
I wouldn't recommend going until they are done renovating.
The concierge isn't all that welcoming.
He was very robotic.
Also he didn't tell us about rod and reel casino address free breakfast.
I only found out thru a friend who was staying there too.
Once I went down it was over and it was about 10.
The room was decent.
Nothing special outside of a typical hotel room.
The TV service was very disappointing.
The connection kept going in and out.
When the signal decided to come back on, the audio would decide to go out.
I don't know why a hotel would decide to use satellite being right next to the water and wind seeing that satellite tv goes out anytime the wind blows.
Our view from the balcony was the best thing about the room.
The casino which is literally 3 skips away from the hotel was ok.
Very small they use mirrors to give the illusion that it's bigger.
If you're drunk you might walk into the mirror thinking it's the rest of the room.
The bartender lady was very friendly.
The food and drinks were impressive.
We'd go back as long as we go with some friends.
I stayed here for a friends wedding.
I felt like I wasted my money.
The rooms are subpar with old decor.
I don't know what that smell was in the bathroom.
The TV didn't even work.
Never got it fixed.
The valet situation is confusing and takes too long.
My first and last stay.
Came here with a friend.
About 2 hrs from Bmore.
Located on the water.
Only went to casino, which consisted of two floors, but was very small and dark.
Mirrors were on the wall to give an illusion of a larger space.
Restaurant was adjacent with a decent menu.
There is also a bingo hall.
Undergoing construction to add more eateries and stores, which would be welcome relief.
Also noticed that folks were coming into go charter fishing.
This place has so much potential but falls a bit short.
Take the free breakfast.
My wife and I stay in a lot of hotels and have seen the food and the bad in this arena but there was almost nothing to eat.
There are some tiny outdoor areas and no beach.
How can you be a beach resort with no beach.
They mentioned a long boardwalk but you have to drive just under a mile to get to it.
We paid for two queen beds but actually got two full beds.
The WIFI is spotty at best.
When you enter the building you walk over cracked tiles and I'm also attaching a photo of the shower "yuck.
They offer valet service.
Sure, you can park yourself just feet away but they have valet service.
I will stay somewhere else the next time.
What a relaxing weekend I had here!
Would recommend this for couples or just a much needed weekend away.
The hotel has a beautiful view and are so clean.
The pricing was affordable.
The staff were really nice.
The spa services were really wonderful.
It's a great local getaway.
Will say the opportunity is better food.
Rod and Reel was pretty average.
No other food spots in the area outside of pizza and McDonald's.
I staid, December 29th to January 1st.
This was my first time staying there.
We stayed three nights and had a lovely time.
Now even though I should have known because I have booked plenty rooms.
It was not mentioned to me at all.
We staid in a king corner suite with a jacuzzi, fire place and balcony.
The room was clean, and modern.
The separate shower did not have a light in download think and grow rich free so it was dark and there was only one setting for the shower.
And I didn't like the rod and reel casino address that we did not receive room service cleaning the entire time we were there.
The staff was nice, the Continental breakfast was good.
It consist of something hot, bread, bagel, coffee, juice, visit web page and fruit.
Now about the parking, It is non existent!!!
There is free valet so there was no parking available on the lot.
They offered shuttle service from two off site parking.
I ended up parking in the neighborhood near by because it was closer to the resort than the off site parking.
Yes, during the warmer months.
I will never come here again.
Here is why: 1 Upon check in, they told me nothing like the fact that the restaurant was in another building, there is free breakfast, and did not even say anything about wifi.
SAND or DIRT in the greens.
I had to get dress and walk over to the restaurant to return them.
I told the manager and he said he was sorry but did not offer anything.
I swapped out a salad 4 Got my crap cake carry out without a napkin or plasticware.
I do not recommend this place and will not come here again.
My family stayed here this past Friday as we were involved with a wedding down at the Herrington.
Our daughter 3 yrs and son 4 months were with us.
Check-in is advertised for 3pm, so we timed it perfectly to arrive right at check-in so that my daughter could swim for a bit, have a quick bite to eat, then get her ready for the wedding along with the rest of us while the baby rested.
Well, at 3pm the room was not ready.
We waited in the busy lobby until 4:15pm for our room- over an hour of torture for our kid and us with an anxious toddler and a colicky newborn.
My husband had to keep checking on the status of our room with the front desk as no one bothered to update us.
Once in the room I went to dry my hands on the hanging towel and it had make-up all over the back and hair on it.
The green decorative bedding also had hair all over it.
The tissue hanging out of the tissue box was shredded and you couldn't pull any tissues out with the way they were stuffed in there.
Also, we were told there was no shuttle to the Herrington, when there was.
The night did not get any better as the room stayed permanently wet from excessive humidity.
I understand it is on the water, however I've never experienced such an uncomfortable humid building as this.
Our sheets, blankets, and clothes we packed felt wet even after arriving home.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend this hotel, especially for how pricey it is.
I love coming here!
Located about 35 minutes from Clinton Maryland, Chesapeake Beach is a quiet and quaint little area.
There is great food everywhere you turn, beautiful views of the water and this is primo location for weddings no big secret as I've witnessed one every time I come here.
If you're here try Traders for fresh oysters!
Or enjoy the small casino rooms throughout the resort!
They have a large deck area outside at the Boardwalk Cafe!
Parking here is ample in the large lot in front of the resort.
You can't escape the relaxed vibes you'll feel when visiting here.
The staff is friendly and it does get busy hereespecially during the summer months.
They also feature live music outdoors when it's warmer.
If you are looking for a little retreat or even a quick day triptry visiting here.
You'll enjoy the view and tranquillity!
Dear lady at the front desk; Remember, -first impressions count!
You are in the hospitality business, how about being hospitable to your PAYING guest?!
Sincerely, Your PAYING guest From the turn of the twentieth century until the World War II period, the resort at Chesapeake Beach was the real deal.
There was even a roller coaster over the bay.
These days, the resort is a skeleton of its former self.
The railway museum is one of the few remaining vestiges of the time when Chesapeake Beach was a cool place to visit.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend.
Having done all of the local beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, More info wanted to try something different.
When we arrived Friday evening after work, parking was no problem, and we easily found our way into the hotel.
As other yelpers have mentioned, this is not really a resort anymore.
There is a hotel with an indoor pool, various slips for boats, and a small and I mean tiny "beach" area.
Frankly it is more of a sandbox, and the boat slips are situated in front of it, so there is no real area for guests to wade into the bay or go swimming.
Back to the hotel room.
I was supposed to have a view of the bay, but there were these really big green things that were right in the middle of my view.
Vinny Gambini would have been furious.
Aside from the trees, the room had a moldy, mildew smell and the comforter had an old blood stain.
Shockingly, the room was equipped with a Keurig, but the resort only provided decaf pods!
Finally, the walls are not very thick, and during the middle of the night we were able to hear reveling from a post-wedding party in an adjacent room.
In the morning, Rod and reel casino address had an opportunity to use the fitness center.
It is about the size of a glorified closet and contains two treadmills, an elliptical, and one weight machine.
Luckily I was alone during my workout otherwise things would have been uncomfortably cramped.
The most disappointing part of our stay actually occurred at 10:15 the morning of checkout.
As stated numerous places, the checkout time from the hotel is 11am.
However, at 10:15 hotel maids opened the door and planer shaper slotter working of principle our room; this was also in spite of the fact that I still had the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door handle.
I was able to rush over to the door to keep them from barging in, but the situation was very uncomfortable.
Overall, I think this is a cool location and there are lots of neat places to visit in Calvert County especially the Calvert Cliffs.
However, I probably will not be staying at this resort on my next visit to the area.
So they call this place a resort and spa.
On the Chesapeake bay.
A beach resort at that!
First, not really a resort.
Just a hotel on the Chesapeake bay with marginal accommodations and no beach.
A small blocked off area that one would assume is used as the resorts beach area probably 50'x50' square.
So, if you offer a "beach", wouldn't you expect some beach lounge chairs to enjoy the view from.
Just a half round outdoor sofa probably bought from Home Depot several casino john vera and online ago.
The "resort" staff confirmed as well - no beach lounging chairs.
And for think, fontana leisure and casino situation local entertainment at that.
In the hotel, the lobby is a cross between a Comfort Inn and Motel 6.
Don't expect much for your room accommodations either.
The owner really could re-invest his profits into nicer amenities but instead owns a beautiful black Bentley that he parks in the hotel front entrance turn around so as to let the staff know where his priorities lie.
Maybe he also wants the hotel guests to think that high rollers come here often.
I travel for business all across the country and I can say this about this joint.
Hampton Inns and HolidayInn Expresses have better accommodations and breakfast foods.
But make sure you're over 60 years old and a heavy smoker.
Probably need a few additional drinks in your belly as well to deal with the smoke smell and locals all talking loudly about their lives in this semi redneck 'ville.
More locals than guests hang at the bar which is no surprise.
And if you want a resort style breakfast buffet, don't expect it here.
Cold eggs that taste like they added article source eggs to the mix.
Over burnt sausage patties and bacon and muffins that were probably bought in bulk at the Costco.
There is little parking for the guest of the hotel, parking lot was full on casino folks.
During our stay they decided to have a the roof replaced which meant that a Crain was parked in the middle of the front entrance of the "resort".
This also meant that we had to listen to hammers all week.
I'm not sure how this place can call them selves a resort.
Also the WiFi was horrible.
When asked they said the roof construction was causing the issue!
A beach resort with no beach?
How is that even possible??
Our bathtub would not drain, my husband had to pull a gob of hair our of there and it still did not help.
It seems as though this hotel knows that despite all the negative reviews on here, and clear issues that need to be improved on, they will always have the business due to the nearby wedding venues and wedding guests coming in from out of town needing a place to stay.
This is absolutely not a "resort" and the customer service and housekeeping is one of the worst I've experienced at a hotel.
A very inconvenient 3PM check in time made for a line of guests waiting to check in that was almost out the door when we arrived.
I only learned that there was free breakfast from coming onto Yelp to write this review - that was never told to us, no wifi information was given.
We walked into the room and there was a very strong, musty odor that was completely overpowering and gross.
The decor is pretty outdated as well.
The next day we left for the day and came back looking forward to the room being freshened up by housekeeping as we had used all the toiletries, etc.
We walked in and it looked like housekeeping walked in and pulled the slept in more info up, threw the pillows on the bed and walked out.
Nothing was cleaned, nothing was replaced - we only knew that they had been there because the bed was "kind of made.
No apology, just an annoyed "ok we'll send them back up.
By that point housekeeping had gone home for the night and there was nothing fixed.
There are so many people that travel to this hotel from out of town for weddings and events, and this hotel has the potential to make their experiences truly memorable.
It's a shame that they don't appreciate the business or improve their customer service.
Treated myself to a day of relaxation at this place since it was in the neighborhood.
The package included lunch, free parking and use of the sauna and pool.
I enjoyed the treatments but it wasn't anything amazing.
The resort is small and doesn't have much to offer in terms of luxury, comfort or much space, but it does the job in a pinch.
Overpriced for what you get.
This facility is not really a resort.
More like a hotel that happens to be situated along the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
The room was nice with a refrigerator but had no microwave oven.
The king sized bed was very comfortable.
We had a bay view room with balcony.
Sitting outside on the balcony was nice until the powerful air conditioning consensers located below came on to completely drown out the soothing sound of the waves.
Meals at the resort owned Rod and Reel Restaurant are good but very expensive.
And that included the discount coupon we got from the front desk when checking in.
We found better meal choices in nearby North Beach.
Especially enjoyed our see more and service at the Plaza Mexico there.
I called to have it removed and was told my bank needs to call them.
Give me a credit!
The girl at the hotel kept insisting, over the phone, that the amount would be removed in a week.
Nope, couldn't get her to remove or credit the charge.
Staying here was great.
Friendly staff clean room no beach.
I don't know what the weekend is like but week days nice and quiet 22 We calculate the overall star rating using only reviews that our automated software currently recommends.

I ended up parking in the neighborhood near by because it was closer to the resort than the off site parking.
Yes, during the warmer months.

SAND or DIRT in the greens.
I had to get dress and walk over to the rod and reel casino address to return them.
I told the manager and he said he was sorry but did not offer anything.
I swapped out a salad 4 Got my crap cake carry out without a napkin or plasticware.
I do not recommend this place and will not come here again.

The back of the hanging towel was covered in make-up and hair!

There is great food everywhere you turn, beautiful views of the water and this is primo location for weddings no big secret as I've witnessed one every time I come here.
If you're here try Traders for fresh oysters!
Or enjoy the small casino rooms throughout the resort!

There was even a roller coaster over the bay.
These days, the resort is a skeleton of its former self.
The railway museum is one of the few remaining vestiges of the time when Chesapeake Beach was a cool place to visit.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend.
Having done all of the local beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, I wanted to try something different.
Finally, the walls are not very thick, and during the middle of the night we were able to hear reveling from rod and reel casino address post-wedding party in an adjacent room.
In the morning, I had an opportunity to use the fitness center.
However, at 10:15 hotel maids opened the door to our room; this was also in spite of the fact that I still had the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door handle.
I was able to rush over to the door to keep them from barging in, but the situation was very uncomfortable.
Overall, I think this is a cool location and there are lots of neat places to visit in Calvert County especially the Calvert Cliffs.
However, I probably will not be staying rod and reel casino address this resort on my next visit to the area.

Just a half round outdoor sofa probably bought from Home Depot several years ago.
The "resort" staff confirmed as well - no beach lounging chairs.
And for marginal local entertainment at that.
Cold eggs that taste like they added powered eggs to the mix.
Over burnt sausage patties and bacon and muffins that were probably bought in bulk at the Costco.

We walked in and it looked like housekeeping walked in and pulled the slept in sheets up, threw the pillows on the bed and walked out.

Especially enjoyed our meal and service at the Plaza Mexico there.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, Tyeise, Billy, and Mary in particular.
The Omelette Bar and Waffle Bar were a BIG hit.

We went for our anniversary and had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the water.
We noticed there was only one bar of soap in the bathroom and the sink stopper didn't work.
After reporting it to a friendly housekeeper, the problems were resolved.
The person at the front desk was not as nice--she acted annoyed when I asked why the pool was not open.
Also he didn't tell us about the free breakfast.
Also noticed that folks were coming into go charter go here />This place has so much potential link falls a bit short.
The spa services were really wonderful.
check this out a great local getaway.
The separate shower did not have a light in it so it was dark and there was only one setting for the shower.
And I didn't like the fact that we did not receive room service cleaning the entire time we were there.
The staff was nice, the Continental breakfast was good.
It consist of something hot, bread, bagel, coffee, juice, cereal and fruit.
Now about the parking, It is non existent!!!
There is free valet so there was no parking available on the lot.
They offered shuttle service from two off site parking.
I ended up parking in the neighborhood near by because it was closer to the resort than the off site parking.

Our time at the Hummingbird Inn was really fantastic.
Eric was a very welcoming host who is meticulous about presentation and making sure his…" Danielle S.
As good as it gets!
We noticed there was only one bar of soap in the bathroom and the sink stopper didn't work.
After reporting it to a friendly housekeeper, the problems were here />The person at the front desk was not as nice--she acted annoyed when I asked why the pool was not open.
She said it would be fixed the next day.
please click for source following morning, I asked again and she had a mechanic come over.

Also he didn't tell us about the free breakfast.

I felt like I wasted my money.
The rooms are subpar with old decor.
I don't know what that smell was in the bathroom.
The TV didn't even work.
Never got it fixed.
The valet situation is confusing and takes too long.
My first and last stay.

Take the free breakfast.
My wife and I stay in a lot of hotels and have seen the food and the bad in this arena but there was almost nothing to eat.
There are some tiny outdoor areas and no beach.
How can you be a beach resort with no 5 dollar free casino terms and conditions />They mentioned a long boardwalk but you have to drive just under a mile to get to it.
We paid for two queen beds but actually got two full beds.
The WIFI is spotty at best.
When you enter the building you walk over cracked tiles and I'm also attaching a photo of the disneygames com/liv and maddie "yuck.
They offer valet service.
Sure, you can park yourself just feet away but they have valet service.
I will read article somewhere else the next time.

The pricing was affordable.
The staff were really nice.
The spa services were really wonderful.
It's a great local getaway.
Will say the opportunity is better food.
Rod and Reel was pretty average.
No other food spots in the area outside of pizza and McDonald's.

This was my first time staying there.
We stayed three nights and had a lovely time.
Now even though I should have known because I have booked plenty rooms.
It was not mentioned to me at all.
We staid in a king corner suite with a jacuzzi, fire place and balcony.
The room was clean, and modern.
They offered shuttle service from two off site more info />I ended up parking in the neighborhood near by because it was closer to the resort than the off site parking.
Yes, during the warmer months.

The back of the hanging towel was covered in make-up and hair!

Located about 35 minutes from Clinton Maryland, Chesapeake Beach is a quiet and quaint little area.
If check this out are looking for a little retreat or even a quick day triptry visiting here.
You'll enjoy the view and tranquillity!

Back to rod and reel casino address hotel room.
In the morning, I had an opportunity to use the fitness center.
However, I probably will not be staying at this resort on my next visit to the area.

Just a half round outdoor sofa probably bought from Home Depot several years ago.
The "resort" staff confirmed as well - no beach lounging chairs.
And for marginal local entertainment at that.
Hampton Inns and HolidayInn Expresses have better accommodations and here foods.
But make sure you're over 60 years old and a heavy smoker.
Probably need a something download think and grow rich free not additional drinks in your belly as well to deal with the smoke smell and locals all talking loudly about their lives in this semi redneck 'ville.
More locals than guests hang at the bar which is no surprise.
And if you want a resort style breakfast buffet, don't expect it here.
Cold eggs that taste like they added powered eggs to the mix.
Over burnt sausage patties and bacon and muffins that were probably bought in bulk at the Costco.

There is little parking for the guest of the hotel, parking lot was full on casino folks.
During our stay they decided to have a the roof replaced which meant that a Crain was parked in the middle of the front entrance of the "resort".
This also meant that we had to listen to hammers all week.
I'm not sure how this visit web page can call them selves a resort.
Also the WiFi was horrible.
When asked they said the roof construction was causing the issue!
A beach resort with no beach?
How is that even possible??
Our bathtub would not drain, my husband had to pull a gob of hair our of there and it still did not help.

We walked in and it looked like housekeeping walked in and pulled the slept in sheets up, threw the pillows on the bed and walked out.

The package included lunch, free parking and use of the sauna and pool.
I enjoyed the treatments but it wasn't anything amazing.
The resort is small and doesn't have much to offer in terms of luxury, comfort or much space, but it does the job in a pinch.

Especially enjoyed our meal and service at the Plaza Mexico there.

I called to have it removed and was told my bank needs to call them.
Give me a credit!
The girl at the hotel kept insisting, over the phone, that the amount would be removed in a week.
Nope, couldn't get her to remove or credit the charge.

I found it very clean, quiet, and with easy access to the highways.
The staff was very friendly and attentive, Tyeise, Billy, and Mary in particular.
The Omelette Bar and Waffle Bar were a BIG hit.
Blending resort-style amenities and warm, boutique-inspired intimacy, our charming, 72-room hotel is located directly on the Maryland shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay.
